Don’t Ask, Don’t Listen – video
Family Research Council video that Reveals the Obama/Pelosi/Levin Disrespect for the U.S. Military
There is a simple reason why the gay rights lobby is trying to rush through repeal of the Pentagon’s homosexual exclusion policy. They know that a comprehensive review of a proposed change would disclose the substantial evidence that admission of open and active homosexuals would put our troops in further danger through exposure to tainted blood. In fact, evidence to this effect is already in the hands of top military commanders and Pentagon officers.
The Pentagon understands that 19,000 soldiers already have HIV/AIDS and that some — if not most — came down with the deadly disease through prohibited gay sexual conduct. It is common sense that opening the ranks to open and active homosexuals would only increase this problem….
The gay rights lobby is labeling as “offensive” a new video http://www.usasurvival.org/gay-blood.html that exposes homosexual misconduct in the Armed Forces and wants it taken down from YouTube. They have not pinpointed one factual inaccuracy in the film or in the heavily documented 60-page report http://www.usasurvival.org/ck04.29.10.html by Dale O’Leary that forms the basis of it.

You Can’t Make This Stuff Up
By Nancy Morgan May 25, 2010
As our young men are fighting and dying in Afghanistan, our current elected officials remain hard at work. Their most recent work product includes a proposal for a new medal to reward our troops for “courageous restraint.” Have you got that? A medal for not killing the enemy. Of course most of these medals would, of necessity, be awarded posthumously.
Maybe by the time the first new medal is awarded, the “enemy” will actually be defined. The only concrete message so far from Washington, via Attorney General Eric Holder, is that the enemy is NOT radical Islamic terrorists. Whew!…
Is it just me, or is something seriously out of whack in our country?

Buy Socialism Now, Pay for It Later
By Daniel Greenfield May 27, 2010
One of the more stunning bits of insanity to come out of 2008 is that during an economic crisis caused by “Buy Now, Pay Later” fiscal planning, a candidate whose entire economic philosophy was built on “Buy Now, Pay Later” was voted in. The difference is that Obama’s “Buy Now, Pay Later” plans weren’t there for capitalism, but to fund socialism. And now with the national debt tripled, and his approval rating lower than a skunk’s at an aromatherapy session, he’s pushing out ObamaCare’s “benefits” ahead of schedule. Still Buy Now, Pay Later….

As a study of political fallacies, part two, this article continues an examination of defective examples of speech and debate, employed here by leftist supporters of the current Obama administration. Now are added eleven more fallacies to the ten previously outlined. http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/23238
A fallacy is a badly structured argument, a faux point. Fallacies are common and recognizable errors of logic which regularly pop up in human interactions. Some use fallacies by accident, whereas others do so in an effort to take advantage of simple minded folks. Politicians, being veteran communicators, tend to use fallacies on purpose, tricking listeners into agreeing with them on false grounds.

A reporter recently challenged me about that term to describe the Left, specifically the accusation that they are a “machine.”
He asked if all governing wasn’t about assembling a machine to hold onto power and if I was simply trying to demonize what is normal behavior in politics.
My answer was that he is confusing the assembling of a coalition of different groups with mutual (or at least, non-conflicting) goals with the building of a machine that uses dishonesty, corruption, intimidation, and government power to make itself stronger so it can steamroll over the will of the American people.
Had this reporter asked me this same question today, I would have pointed him to three stories from the last week as an example of this behavior from the Left.

‘Death panels’ were an overblown claim – until now

The Congressional Budget Office announcement May 11, 2010, that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) would cost, over the next ten years, $115 Billion more, brings the total cost over $1 Trillion. Imagine—Congress and the President spent a whole year jamming a 2,309 page monster down our throats on the pretense of “eliminating fraud, waste and abuse (in the delivery of medical care) at a lower cost”. This same Congressional Budget Office, using the contrived numbers given by Congress, had previously said Obamacare would REDUCE federal deficits by $143 Billion. I smell FRAUD.

Arizona Senate Bill 1070 on Illegal Immigration
The Presidents and the Arizona Law
William J. Bennett & Seth Leibsohn May 20, 2010
Neither President Obama nor the president of Mexico has a legitimate objection to Arizona’s attempt to control illegal immigration.
Obama’s Arizona Stance Borders Treason
By Neil Braithwaite May 26, 2010
Without a hint of hesitation after Arizona passed their new immigration law, President Obama immediately condemned our 48th State by calling Arizona’s new immigration law misdirected, troubling, and potentially discriminatory. What followed was an onslaught of protests and proposed boycotts against Arizona from New York to Los Angles filled with allegations of hate and racism over their new immigration law. So the question that remains is; by standing idly by while all this is taking place, is President Obama, in essence, encouraging harm against the very country that he swore an oath to protect?
